Jessica Bell, JD

Jessica joined Baird in 2022 as Vice President and Senior Estate Planner. She is pleased to enter private wealth management after over 15 years as a practicing attorney. Jessica has extensive experience in estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, and estate litigation. Jessica is known for her collaborative approach and bringing unique solutions to clients’ problems.

She was selected by her peers in 2022 as one of Business North Carolina magazine’s Legal Elite in the area of “Tax and Estate Planning”. Approximately 3% of NC attorneys were selected this year. She was also selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 editions of The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of Elder Law. The Best Lawyers in America® is recognized as the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.

Jessica is a graduate of King University and Wake Forest University School of Law and is admitted to practice in North Carolina and the Supreme Court of the United States. A resident of Winston-Salem, NC since 2002, she and her husband are active in the community with their four daughters. They also enjoy spending time at their home in Emerald Isle, NC. One of Jessica’s favorite charitable endeavors was the creation of Project Birthday in 2013 as part of the Forsyth County Women Attorneys Association, where she partnered with Forsyth County Department of Social Services and others to provide birthday gifts for all children in foster care. After creating and running the program for many years, she is delighted to say it still continues to provide happiness for children in foster care today.
